Embedded in this sorrow is an appeal to the reader - to Indians primarily, but it is applicable to almost anyone: know your history; tell the truth about it; consult it for understanding the present - but without trying to return to it - a bogus effort that can only end in disaster, as we have seen in the efforts of living Muslims to invoke Islam's lost empire. I love this book and so do the kids in my class. I did get tired of it but it was good. Em busca do tempo perdido.
